These records index series "Petitions for Naturalization, 1865-1991" (NAID 576072). The index cards contain, at a minimum, the name of the petitioner and the petition number.
I planned to do 5 pages (100) of these petitions–in order to learn the freshman-equivalent "how's" of transcribing. Right now the objective is triple-revising/editing these petitions #1-100.
